| Here at Hudson Furniture, we are proud that our beds are made from sustainable mahogany. All timber used is from government controlled, renewable plantations and kiln dried at the perfect temperature to ensure maximum longevity. Each bed is traditionally handmade to the upmost of quality. Solid brass bolts and hooks are used to fix each corner to the side rails. Each bed has 15 hard wood slats, queen size beds have a support beam through the centre and two support beams on the king size beds. The mass manufacturing names that dominate the high street today use much cheaper wood for their products. Most of the time, they can use mdf which is compressed saw dust and laminates. These beds may be cheap but their life span is minimal. We believe that shouldn't be the case. Our beds will be enjoyed for a lifetime. Our timeless designs will be passed down for generations to come. All the beds in our range are available with there own matching suites, from bedside tables, tallboys, dressing tables, wardrobes and even bed end stools, breakfast trays and valet stands.
